Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda

In the jungle it can be difficult to get the camera to focus on a Gorilla. The entire family is instantaneously moving above and around you. The leaves blur the subject. You’re shaking like a leaf with excitement, while running through the mountainous jungle during the single hour one is allotted with them. At one point I stopped and gasped at a sunbeam illuminating this beatific vision of mother and child.
